Lookifitslocal was established because we had a lot of stuff we wanted to sell, and (unfortunately) a lot of stuff we wanted to buy! We are a great fan of the big internet auction sites but as a seller we were getting frustrated by the listing fees and the charges to sell stuff and, as a buyer, the increasing postage costs to get the new purchase.
We've sold all our stuff successfully using this via this site, the odd car boot and online auction site.

This great little site is a fully functioning website where you can earn money from customers selling AND through advertisers with banner advertising. You do not need any special skills or knowhow to run the site, just to monitor the items listed and to promote the site via local newpaper advertsing or online. You can spend as much or as little on advertising the site as you wish.
Why are we offering the site for sale?
Its a great site, but we do not not have the time to commit to the upkeep of the site; regulating listings and advertisers, simple as that.
We thought about simply switching it off, but then thought we'd offer to someone new, to take the site on and make it a success again.
